Japanese Mayo
Noodle salad?
There used to be a Japanese Restaurant in town that served what they called “noodle salad” that was extremely delicious. Unfortunaely, they closed and I cannot find the recipe anywhere. It was made with what looked like spaghetti noodles and has small pieces of celery in it. There may have been onions, but I’m not sure about that. The dressing was mayo based and had a slightly sweet after taste. If anyone has this recipe, or something similar, I would be so grateful! Thanks.
Unlike other Answer users, I always try to find the answers to my questions on the internet before I post. Please don’t tell me to look at other sites, I have already done that unsuccessfully. Please only respond to this if you have or have located an actual recipe. Also, I’m not asking your opinion on how this dish sounds. Serious responses only.
Here are a few recipes I like. None of them seem to be an exact match to the one you are looking for, but if you are craving Japanese noodle salads you would probably like these. Oh, and I doubt it was actually spaghetti noodles, but most likely soba or udon.
